Accommodation
Our 15 chalets and villas are built with stunning timbers, buffed coconut poles and the richly-coloured quartz volcanic stones of the local hillsides. Marble is used extensively on the floors and in the bathrooms. The grass (alang alang) roofs are insulating and natural.
From small grass huts up to fully self-contained 3 bedroom villas, all accommodation has sea, mountain and bush views. The concept of design is glass fronted with decks on all rooms that take in the commanding views. Each room has its own private bathroom, styled with an open roof.
Jati is a 2-roomed villa with an expansive deck overlooking the surf. All our chalets sit on the cliff top ridge, overlooking the surf and spectacular views of the Bay.
More to the rear are simple “grass huts” providing accommodation for our volunteer interns and our non-package guests. They have the use of our “shared” bathroom facilities.
Villas
Our latest 3-bedroom villa (Komodo) nestles in a valley above Heaven’s beach and our “Beach” chalet. This 3-bedroom villa is ideal for families and large groups.
The 2-storey Villa Reef (Reef Palace) sits on the headland immediately above Inside Ekas surf break with unsurpassed views of both Inside and Outside surf breaks, the Rinjani Volcano, the entrance to the Bay and Ekas village. Villa Reef has its own “infinity” plunge pool and bush trail to the surf breaks. The Villa can sleep up to 6 people, but is best with 4. The upstairs living area includes lounge, dining and kitchen, with a terrace over-looking the surf.
Our latest offering is the very large Villa Rinjani. This sensational building is double-storey, with 3 bedrooms and a huge terrace that surrounds the upper level. Villa Rinjani looks down on Inside Ekas surfbreak and the Bay. This villa comfortably sleeps 6 people, with its 3 large bedrooms and big dining and kitchen area.

Everything built at Heaven is designed to blend with the natural environment, which is the philosophy of our architectural style. All buildings are earthquake safe, with minimal concrete and bricks, and safe alang alang roof.
Most rooms have DVD and the Resort provides satellite TV and internet in the “open lounge” near the restaurant. Reef Palace has its own kitchen plus a well stocked bar. All meals can be taken at Heaven’s restaurant or brought to the Reef Palace by your personal assistant who will also run any errands. Some guests choose to make extra meals themselves. A Heaven’s chef can come to the house and cook for you, subject to availability.
All bookings are taken on a “first in, best accommodation” basis, although minimum numbers are needed to avoid a surcharge for guests at Reef Palace and Komodo.
