In our cliff top restaurant, sunset is very special with the last views of the surf and Bay, and the majestic Rinjani volcano dominating the red skyline. In the glorious wet season, evening storms build and drift across the Bay.
This season we feature a new and broader menu with more vegetarian and vegan foods. Our long-term master chef Saad triumphantly returns after taking 6 months of additional cooking training in Bali. Saad has been fulfilling the culinary needs of our guests for 5 years and our many return guests who have experienced his food are very pleased to have him back. His protege is the highly successful village woman, Joh, who has learned the trade at Heaven under Saad’s training. Joh will lead the chefs at Ocean Heaven.
Our chefs prepare both western and local foods from the menu or banquet style, with a touch of Lombok spice if you want. Their specialty is fresh local seafood, often cooked over the natural BBQ.
The restaurant bar serves Bintang beer, spirits, cocktails and wines. The iced fruit juices and the fruit cocktails are very popular.
On the golden sands of Heaven’s Beach, the “Beach Warung” restaurant serves drinks during the day and late afternoon.
Room service is available for all meals and drinks.
