Arvind’s Background

Graduate: Director/Producers Media Course, National Recording Studios, Canberra, Australia.
Arvind comes from a background in stills photography, first as a news photographer for Consolidated Press, Sydney and then as a freelance photographer for Harpers Bazaar and Vogue in the USA. He did his training as a news cameraman for Consolidated Press and Channel 9 in Sydney commencing in 1963. Since then he has widened his experience in the film industry as cameraman/editor in the US (1978 -79). On his return to Australia he worked as a news gatherer for national television. In 1991 Arvind along with Hiromi Matsuoka set up VideoVision Film and Television Productions in Bermagui on the far South Coast of NSW. _VideoVision has produced local and interstate Television commercials, corporate videos and feature documentaries and has won many national and international awards.
